Check out the stunning Mercedes C63 AMG created by Carlex Design

Carlex Design has worked on a Mercedes C63 AMG to turn it into a collector’s piece, with black as its main design argument

A Mercedes C63 AMG doesn’t need much to be a truly impressive car. In fact, it doesn’t need anything beyond what it leaves the factory with, but there is always someone who thinks it can be even more spectacular. The car conversion company Carlex Design, which has already worked on many models from the brand with the three-pointed star, wanted to show us that this model can be even more than it is, and shows us what it can do using just one colour: black.

This colour is the protagonist of the design the company has proposed, and they have created the car you can see in the image gallery. The exterior is not entirely black, as it is a matt grey that almost blends into the deep black that reigns inside. The wheels have also been painted the same colour, and the only discordant note is the red of the brake calipers, which stands out strongly against the dark body.

It is inside where the black looks most striking. Everything has been covered in this colour, and the white stitching gives a truly spectacular look. Both the upholstery and the various spaces of the cabin feature this colour. The many physical controls on the centre console hint that the model used is somewhat dated, but honestly, we don’t mind at all.

Another feature added by Carlex Design is a pair of Audison subwoofers in the boot, which deliver spectacular sound quality. And of course, these speakers are black so that they stand out for their sound, not their looks. The engine hidden under the bonnet is the naturally aspirated 6.2-litre V8, which produces 457 CV and a maximum torque of 600 Nm, so that it’s not just the appearance that surprises in this spectacular modified model, which we were able to see thanks to Carscoops.
