The American manufacturer surprises us with the presentation of luxury variants of its well-known SUVs at the Los Angeles Auto Show; the first, called “Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland Summit”, has a pleasing exterior look, featuring a new paint finish, a fully chrome front grille, fog lights and 20-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, there is an exquisite selection of materials, among which the wood trim and the seat ventilation system stand out. As you can imagine, the mechanicals receive no changes whatsoever, because the setup does not need improvements.

The vehicle will go on sale next month in North America for 42,495 dollars (31,140 euros) for the 4×2 model and 45,995 (33,700 euros) for the 4×4 version. We clarify that the price does not include shipping costs.

On the other hand, the “Jeep Liberty Jet” will not be sold as a special edition, because it is a styling package available for the Sport and Limited models of the SUV.

For that reason it did not seem like an important novelty; however, after seeing the gallery we were captivated, because it manages to change the look of the vehicle.

This is because the exterior details include a chrome bumper, side skirts, roof rails, darkened headlights, a “Jet” badge, 20-inch wheels fitted with P245/50R20 tyres, and four exterior paint options.

Inside, a new sound system stands out, along with curtain-type side airbags, heated front seats and the high-quality leather covering the seats.

The price of the package ranges between 995 dollars and 1,495 dollars (729-1,100 euros) depending on the owners’ requirements.
