Citroën Ami One Concept: electric and urban
Citroën unveils the Ami One Concept at the Geneva Motor Show, its new electric vehicle, designed for a more dynamic and free urban experience.
Ami One Concept, created as a shared and accessible car-sharing platform for those who do not hold a driving licence. A driving experience full of style and comfort.
Controlled through a mobile app service that manages its use and simplifies every journey, with an “on demand” function from five days up to a maximum of five years.

Citroën Ami One Concept: Performance
As for its performance, which is somewhat modest, it features an electric motor with a top speed of 45 km/h and a range of 100 km. Although the capacity of its battery is still unknown, it is known that it takes two hours to recharge using a Wallbox charger.
Finished in the stylish Orange Mécanique colour, with a body measuring 2.50 metres in length and 1.50 m in height, it is able to carry two passengers. Its doors open symmetrically, one forward and one rearward.
One of the major features is a pedestrian detection system that activates when people approach the vehicle. The Ami One Concept emits a sound made up of a human voice rather than the usual hum of an electric model.

Access to the interior
To access our Ami One Concept we must use our mobile phone’s connectivity. On the lower part of the door handle there is a QR code, which we must scan.
Once we have accessed the vehicle, we must place our smartphone in the “Drive Pod” charging area, where the interaction begins.
Inside, we find surfaces with an enamelled finish and asymmetrical seats between them, giving the driver a forward-set position and improving the width between passengers. One curious feature is a white backpack for storing objects in front of the passenger seat.
A design full of style and comfort for users who want an agile and dynamic urban vehicle. The brand has remained faithful to its signature #InspiredByYou, as seen in the Citroën C3 Aircross.

Connectivity
The Ami One Concept features the use of a personal assistant, activated by two buttons on the steering wheel: one allows navigation through the app menu, while the other is used to give voice commands.
All this connectivity is centred on a 5″ screen that also projects information onto the windscreen. To the right of the aforementioned “Drive-Pod” there is the start button, indicators, gear selector and a Bluetooth speaker.
