C3 DS DS 3 Compact Concepts Eventos Photos Minivans Geneva Motor Show
Citroën at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show

We keep walking from stand to stand, stopping for a few moments at Citroën. As a world premiere, they present both the restyled C3 and the Technospace concept car, a preview of the future C4 Picasso, whose launch is scheduled for the second half of the year and which, as you know, we “spotted” around Vigo a few days ago.
The new Citroën C3 will go on sale starting next April, and one of its key strengths will be the efficient range of engines it offers, including one with CO2 emissions of just 87 g/km.
It also features the Zénith windscreen, which has been rated as offering the greatest visibility for the driver in its entire segment, mainly thanks to its dimensions. The exterior design is dominated by the new front end along with the new rear lights. Inside, there are new trim levels with welcoming upholstery and new safety and comfort equipment, such as rear parking assist.

Moving on to the Technospace concept car, it will reach the market in the second half of the year and will be built at the brand’s factory in Vigo. Without a doubt, the Picasso name carries great value for Citroën, since under that name more than three million vehicles have already been sold.
The Technospace debuts the new modular EMP2 platform (Efficient Modular Platform 2) and measures 4.43 m in length, 1.83 m in width and 1.61 m in height, which brings its boot capacity up to 537 litres. Outside, it stands out for its dynamic lines and its state-of-the-art headlights. The cabin incorporates innovative technologies, such as a 100% touch-based driving interface with a 12-inch panoramic screen.

Another model on display is the Citroën DS3 Cabrio, available with three roof options: Black, Infini Blue and Monogramme DS. Its electronically operated roof can be opened at speeds up to 120 km/h, and its five seats make it unique in its segment. Finally, we have the Citroën DS4 Electro Shot, based on the Style trim, with a black gloss roof and rear spoiler, along with side door mouldings and 17” aluminium wheels painted in the same colour. This special edition is the first model produced by the new customisation workshop at the Mulhouse factory.

Espero que cambien el frontal del Picasso, si no va a tener que cerrar la planta de Vigo.
