Citroën Berlingo flies through the air in a surreal accident
After seeing all kinds of accidents filmed by anonymous drivers from their vehicles, we thought nothing could surprise us anymore. The driver of this Citroën Berlingo, however, overturns our convictions with this surreal accident…
No, you are not watching footage from the next action Blockbuster; this is a real accident that took place last January. One of the most surreal situations ever seen on the road reaches us from the hands of a driver of a van of Citroen.

The shocking images come from Norfolk, England. The driver of the Citroen Berlingo seemed to be in an uncontrollable hurry, so he decided to accelerate through the traffic without anticipating, most likely, that just 50 metres later he would come face to face with a roundabout.
After a risky lane-change manoeuvre, the driver finds himself barely 10 metres from the start of the roundabout, a situation that, at that point, given the speed and immediacy of the moment, was impossible to avoid.
Finally the Citroen literally flies through the air, after crashing violently into the kerb of the roundabout. Fortunately, and thanks to the reaction of the vehicle after the spectacular nature of the situation, news arrived confirming that the driver escaped unharmed and that no other vehicle was involved in the accident.

Quite surprising, especially considering that, as can be predicted from the images, the Berlingo was about to suffer a fall, to say the least, spectacular.
After an accident of this magnitude one would normally expect far more severe consequences, but as always, it is impossible to predict what will end up happening due to factors that are often incalculable, and in this case, once again, Murphy’s law seems to have proven its effectiveness.
What never ceases to surprise, however, is the apparent lack of assistance and empathy shown by the other vehicles, especially the one that filmed the accident directly.
It is important to remember that failing to render assistance after being a direct witness to an accident is a crime which, in certain situations, may result in criminal penalties including even imprisonment.
