Citroën launches a new special edition of the C1 for our market this month. Under the name Collection, the most compact vehicle in the C range gets a new look inside and out, as well as a significant upgrade in equipment. The French brand also announces the renewal of the Seduction trim, incorporating the new ETG gearbox.

Inside the Citroën C1 Collection, the Orsai Agrume upholstery stands out: a more youthful design specially conceived for the city, along with new Agrume red details on the air vents, rev counter, speedometer and handles, giving the car a more relaxed character. On the outside, this special series also features new personalisation options, such as the two-tone paint for the roof and bodywork.

The equipment of the new entry-level C1 also includes the Connecting Box, with audio socket, USB port and hands-free kit. The interior also adds elements that give the C1 a more pronounced sporty style, such as the leather-wrapped steering wheel, tinted rear windows and Rift aluminium alloy wheels.

The Seduction trim also introduces Citroën’s new semi-automatic transmission, the ETG (Efficient Tronic Gearbox) six-speed unit already available on other models such as the C4 Picasso. According to Citroën, it adds “smoothness and efficiency” to the qualities of the small C1.

The prices of the C1 Collection and Seduction are as follows.

  • C1 1.0i COLLECTION 3-door: €11,400
  • C1 1.0i SEDUCTION 5-door: €11,920
  • C1 1.0i SEDUCTION 5-door: €11,700
  • C1 1.0i ETG SEDUCTION 5-door: €12,300
