Citroën C3 Aircross C-Series: more personalisation for the French SUV

The Citroën C3 Aircross C-Series is a new version that expands the personalisation options and equipment of the French city SUV

The Citroën C3 Aircross was the French brand’s strategy to fully enter the fight in one of the most crowded segments of today’s market: that of city SUVs. This model arrived in 2017 and positioned itself as the smallest sibling in the Gallic firm’s crossover family.

After three years on the market, it has managed to establish itself as one of Citroën’s core pillars, and indeed, with more than 290,000 units sold, it has become the brand’s second best-selling model among private customers.

Without a doubt, one of the arguments that has won over the most customers is its personalisation capabilities, and indeed a large share of its sales feature two-tone body configurations. In fact, we already told you that the Citroën C3 would arrive in June with 97 different exterior combinations.

The new Citroën C3 Aircross C-Series takes personalisation to another level

To celebrate this success, the brand of the chevrons has decided to launch a new version. It is called Citroën C3 Aircross C-Series and aims to deepen the character and comfort of the brand’s models with new colours and materials designed to make life on board more enjoyable.

The main differences come down to a new embossed logo with the legend “C-Series” and red decoration on some exterior body elements. The specific details are not limited to the exterior, as we will also find them inside thanks to the red elements in both the upholstery and the floor mats.

The Citroën C3 Aircross C-Series adds a new shade to the range of colours available to personalise the car. This novelty has been named “Anodised Deep Red” and can be fitted to the headlight surrounds or the mirror housings. These details can therefore be combined with the four body colours available: Natural White, Metallic Acero Grey and Perla Nera Black.

A very comprehensive standard equipment

The new Citroën C3 Aircross C-Series is based on the Feel equipment level, although it adds elements to achieve a more complete standard specification. We can therefore find features such as automatic air conditioning, rear parking sensors, electrically folding mirrors, electric windows or an infotainment system compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. There are also exterior elements such as 16-inch alloy wheels or the two-tone roof in Perla Nera Black.

This version is available with two engines, a petrol one – PureTech 110 – and a diesel one – BlueHDi 100 CV. Both share the same configuration, as they are only available with a six-speed manual gearbox.

We already know the price of the Citroën C3 Aircross C-Series, so getting the petrol version starts from 20,450 euros and, should you opt for the diesel, you will have to pay 800 euros more, as it will be available from 21,250 euros. If you are interested, you can already reserve it at the brand’s dealerships.
