Citroën Seetroën Anti-Motion Sickness Glasses: Seetroën
Citroën unveils its Seetroën anti-motion sickness glasses. An effective solution to put an end to one of the most common ailments during journeys.
Citroën has thought of everything, which is why it has set out to tackle one of the most common ailments during road trips. Motion sickness is, quite literally, a real headache for many people.

Quite a few people avoid getting into a car because of this condition. Chronic sickness during the journey seemed unavoidable for some people, until now, of course. Citroën proposes an alternative: its Seetroën glasses could become the solution for many people.
Motion sickness, also known as “kinetosis”, chronically affects more than 30 million Europeans. One in every three people, regardless of age, has experienced these symptoms at least once in their life.

The Seetroën glasses use Boarding Ring technology. Its effectiveness rate is no less than 95%. This data confirms that they may be a real solution for everyone who suffers from motion sickness on a regular basis.
Thanks to the liquid in motion contained in the rings situated around the eyes, along the frontal axis (right/left) but also along the sagittal axis (front/back), the glasses recreate the horizon line to prevent the conflict between the senses that causes the problem.
Citroën entrusted the design to 5.5, a collective design studio from Paris, which has incorporated the brand’s codes of freshness, ease of use and ergonomics. The result: high-tech-looking glasses in white, soft-touch plastic.
Beyond their technology, which evidently works, we must make a separate point to discuss their design. The truth is that the glasses, in my opinion, are rather ugly…

This may put many people off. Their style is too reminiscent of the comedy glasses typically worn by children at carnivals or various parties. I believe that giving them a more modern touch or slightly streamlining their look would encourage many people to buy them without hesitation.
On the other hand, their comfort is outstanding. They are suitable for ages 10 and up. The glasses have no lenses, so everyone can wear them without any problems. Their bulky design allows them to be worn over other glasses, although the lenses could surely be adapted to their oval protrusions.
It is clear that the initiative is very positive; however, in a time like the present, where appearance is so important, I believe these glasses, with their current design, do not have much of a future. If you are one of those who doesn’t care what others think of you, then you are in luck.

Nevertheless, we strongly recommend their use, especially if you cannot get into a vehicle without feeling sick; this solution will be like night and day.
Their price is €99. They may seem expensive, but given their effectiveness, we think that as a solution for forgetting about motion sickness once and for all, they are really inexpensive.
