This test perfectly simulates a frontal collision at a speed of 56 km/h between the cars mentioned in the title of the post, whose results are worrying for Fiat users, since the driver’s cabin is completely damaged.

According to the results of the test organized by the German club ADAC, in a real accident the driver of the Fiat would be too vulnerable and even the sheer force of the impact would cause serious injuries to the neck, legs and pelvis.

In contrast, the Q7 maintains a low percentage of injuries for each passenger, although its front structure has also been destroyed.

The conclusions are obvious: it will be difficult for a compact to withstand an SUV of those dimensions. However, ADAC points out that the front structure of the Fiat, characterised by being flat, is not conducive to dispersing the energy of the collision.
