CRD Corvette C5 Coupe or Cabriolet, facelift in 70s style

A couple of months ago we saw the replica of the Mach 5 used for filming the movie Speed Racer, which will be released on May 9, but until now the name of the company responsible for this car was not known.

Chattanooga Rod Design (CRD) decided to take advantage of the film’s publicity to tune the Corvette C5 Classic 1, the model that served as the basis for the replica of the Mach 5.

The company has begun tuning cars donated by their owners to show the degree of exclusivity they can achieve with the new exterior, but the cars’ engines remain unmodified.

When the modification process is finished, the car exudes a 70s-style air similar to the Corvette C2 and, at an approximate price of 38,820 euros, it is not within reach of all users.
