CUPRA and ABT join forces to improve the models of the Spanish high-performance brand

CUPRA already has a long track record in the market, and each model offers a little more spice to the design, while the features of these models are designed to deliver a great driving experience. But now, that experience is set to multiply thanks to the agreement between the Spanish high-performance brand and the tuner ABT.

Before the end of 2025, the first CUPRA models modified by ABT will be ready to hit the roads of Europe. These are the first models that will pass through ABT’s workshops to set them apart from the brand’s standard models. The first to be handled by ABT are the Formentor and the CUPRA León.

Both models will enjoy several design changes, and various elements will be added to enhance their appearance and aerodynamic behavior. Some images have emerged showing the changes to these two models, which will arrive between late 2025 and early 2026, with significant modifications that point to a more sporty style.

The changes allow these two models to gain more presence but also improve their performance. The most visible elements in the images we have seen are the addition of new spoilers and the replacement of the wheels with 20- and 21-inch rims signed by ABT. The decorative elements in glossy black give both models a more elegant touch.

It is not known whether ABT will also act on the chassis and engine, but it is more than likely that it will. So we will have to wait some time before learning the details these models will offer. We also don’t know whether it will be a series model or whether the changes will be made to the vehicles of users who want to enjoy them.
