CUPRA Tribe Editions: where rebellious character meets sustainable innovation

CUPRA is a brand that has rightfully earned its place in the premium range of Volkswagen. And to improve the presence of its models, it has just launched the special Tribe Editions, which include the CUPRA Formentor, León, León Sportstourer and Terramar models. These offer a new level of customisation for these models looking for a bolder new image, without giving up on technological innovation.

The attractive design of these special editions is combined with the use of sustainable materials, which means CUPRA models add this feature to their offering. The first thing we notice in this new special edition is the body colour. As a novelty, it offers the colour Manganese Mate.

But the exterior is not limited to this new colour; you can also choose from other more familiar ones. The colour Bronce Century Mate is also available for the CUPRA Terramar; Gris Magnetic Mate, which is exclusive to the León and Formentor; Negro Midnight and the novelty Manganese Mate. The last two are available for all models.

The wheels have also been redesigned, creating a design that uses up to 20% recycled materials. To make them more attractive, there are also new features inside. In the cabin, the bucket seats are covered with 3D-patterned fabrics. To create this upholstery, a computer-controlled sewing machine is used to weave the fabric very precisely and without generating waste. Bio-based paint has also been used for the centre console and air vents.

The CUPRA emblem is finished in dark chrome, both at the rear and at the front. The model names are finished in the same way, giving each car a very defined style. The presence of sustainable materials is also found in the front bumper, which also uses up to 20% of these materials in its manufacture.

In the cabin, recycled materials account for 30%, both in paints and in other details. And most importantly, this level of finish is available with all engines in the range, so buyers can opt for this special edition regardless of their needs or engine preference.
