Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo: the Juke Batman would drive

It seems times have changed. Years ago, we saw it as a complete absurdity and a commercial suicide when something like the Smart Forjeremy was shown at a renowned motor show. Today, it’s no surprise to see this Nissan Juke ready to prowl the dark nights of Gotham City.

The Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo is the Nissan Juke that the Japanese brand has built in Great Britain, timed to coincide with the latest instalment of the Batman film saga, as well as to celebrate the brand’s partnership with Warner Bros. studios.

Mechanically, it features Nismo’s preparation, if only in terms of its lowered suspension and the almost hand-crafted body kit. It is finished entirely in matt black, just like its 18-inch wheels, and it carries the Batman logos (updated) as well as the Nismo ones. Among other details of this one-off creation, the Batman logos are reflected on the floor, level with the wing mirrors; and we mustn’t overlook the shark-fin antenna on the roof.

Nissan has launched a competition to decide who will get this Batman-themed Juke, at the end of a year that has been very eventful for the Dark Knight, thanks to the auction of the original Batmobile, the Lincoln Futura Concept.
