Discover the Ford Ecosport with Ford ESUS
Ford has created an original campaign to promote the new Ford Ecosport, based on the ESUS, a device that contains a plant and is connected to the vehicle.
It’s not Ford saying it, it’s the World Health Organization. To stay fit, it is advisable to do at least 150 minutes a week of aerobic physical activity. In other words, you need to get moving. And studies reveal that almost 50% of Spaniards do no physical activity at all, which gives us one of the highest levels of sedentary lifestyle in Europe.

What does this have to do with a page dedicated to cars? Well, it’s the idea that Ford has had to promote its new small SUV, the EcoSport. At Ford they have developed a device called the Ford ESUS. The device contains a small plant in a container equipped with temperature, humidity and sunlight sensors, as well as a water tank and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Through Sigfox technology, a small locator in the car connected to the Ford ESUS device, which is controlled via a mobile device application, makes it possible to detect whether the Ford EcoSport is in the home garage… or in a natural environment. In the latter case, the plant automatically receives the water it needs. You can see how it works in this video.

Ford ESUS is not being sold commercially. For now, only three devices exist, which will be raffled among all those interested in the Ford Ecosport who request a test drive of the SUV at www.fordesus.com
