Discover the price of the new Mercedes Clase S Cabrio

Although it won’t be available until next April, now is the time to take a closer look at the Mercedes-AMG S 63 4MATIC Cabrio, a luxury model that brings a new generation to this classic first launched in 1971. The S-Class convertible has plenty of strong points that make it a luxury convertible, one that even invites you to keep the roof down when the weather isn’t on your side, with an intelligent air conditioning system that keeps the cabin at the ideal temperature at all times.

Another feature that makes it special is the panel between the boot and the cabin, made of magnesium and aluminium. The rear section is also made of aluminium, which makes it possible to reduce the weight of the bodyshell below what might seem normal for its configuration.

It also features heated headrests, something also found in the armrests and the main body of the seats, which allow you to enjoy a pleasant temperature inside even when it’s cold outside and you’re driving with the roof down. The wind is cut by the automatic AIRCAP windscreen, which also allows you to travel in complete comfort. The roof is stored in the boot but, unlike other models, it is automatically covered as soon as it is stowed, separated from the luggage area.

The air conditioning system is fully automatic and does not require the driver to adjust it manually. It automatically adapts to the characteristics of the cabin and changes according to the needs of each moment. As for the engine, two different versions are going on sale.

The first of them features a 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 engine delivering a maximum output of 585 CV and 900 Nm of torque, and is equipped with the AMG Performance 4MATIC all-wheel-drive system, which prioritises the rear axle. The other version is slightly less powerful, with 455 CV. The entry-level one will go on sale for 166,000 euros, while the top-of-the-range version reaches 222,700 euros.
