Dodge unveils the interior of the new Durango

As you may remember, a few weeks ago we were able to see the first official images of the new Dodge Durango 2011, but perhaps we missed something that, from my point of view, is just as important: the interior of a model that, in its current version, does not enjoy much popularity due to lines that do it no favours, or some plastic finishes that left a lot to be desired.

As you can see in the header photo and even in the image gallery at the end of this post, on this occasion Dodge has pulled out all the stops and designed a cabin made from high-quality materials and, why not say it, with a very strong resemblance to that of the new Jeep Grand Cherokee. I suppose this is a way of saving money within the same group.

Among the most striking changes, perhaps the door panels deserve special mention, shared with the aforementioned Jeep Grand Cherokee, or the centre console which, as you can see in the photo above these lines, is where Dodge has worked hardest and, above all, where this model differs most from its “cousin” at Jeep.

Without further ado, here is the photo gallery published by Dodge.
