Dodge Viper: final teaser before its unveiling
Chrysler has promised to unveil the new Viper at the New York Motor Show, which is only a couple of days away; but to bridge these final 48 hours, it now releases what we could call a final teaser of the group’s new muscle car.
As can be seen, the upcoming Viper (or should we say Striker?) will not be something very different from its predecessor. In fact, we could almost say it is quite similar, though with its own implicit styling details in the modifications offered on this new model, which you will have the chance to see much more clearly in the previous spy photos we have already shown you.
The two bulges on the roof remain almost a trademark of this new Viper being prepared, in addition to the 700 horsepower of its rumoured 8.7-litre V8. The bonnet features another rather generous bulge with air intakes that we cannot quite see, but which will surely be there to serve the big block.
As for how it will look definitively, we will have to wait until Wednesday, when it is revealed. No major changes to the fundamentals or a new style are expected, so as not to “disappoint” enthusiasts (and the Viper Club of America members, who apparently will be the first to be able to buy it), so I do not know to what extent Chrysler it is going to surprise us with this model.
