Dreaming of the Mercedes SL63 AMG

After its public presentation at the Detroit Motor Show and once again leaving more than one person literally open-mouthed, the time has come to move forward in time and try to reveal what Mercedes might have prepared under the name Mercedes SL63 AMG

As is logical, and if the new SL-Class meets the expectations of previous generations, it would not be surprising if, after its debut, it remains with us until the end of the current decade. This makes sense if we assume that, as with the previous generation, its bodywork will still go through several facelifts before it finally bids farewell.

Returning to the Mercedes SL63 AMG, it is logical to think, and here things seem much clearer, that the German brand will opt for the 5.5-litre twin-turbo V8 it has just introduced. According to rumours from very close to the company, this engine could easily deliver a power output of around 540 horsepower.

As you can see, things could get very serious, especially if we consider a Performance Package of the kind that has been so popular with Mercedes lately, which could push output up to 600 horsepower. And that’s before we even mention a hypothetical Black Series version, which gives me chills.
