DS 4 Crossback Moondust, a more elegant and technological special edition

The PSA Group continues its work of emphasising the differentiated, premium line of DS compared with its more mainstream sister brands. The DS 4 received a limited Opera Blue edition last year, as well as the sportier Performance Line version, and now it is the turn of its more rugged version to receive a special edition: the DS 4 Crossback Moondust.
With this Moondust special edition, the aim is to move the car away from its image as a vehicle suited only to the countryside and bring it closer to that of a more refined crossover, one that feels at home in the city and is equipped with the latest technology. On the outside, the most notable feature is the new Platinum Grey paint, exclusive to this model, which combines perfectly with the 18-inch gloss black alloy wheels. The same gloss black finish is also used on the rear spoiler and the wheel arches.

Inside, the modifications also involve materials such as leather, which give a better finish. An example is the Basalt Black nappa leather, used to cover the dashboard and door panels. There is also the option, as an extra, of grained leather in the same colour, which adds 1,200 euros to the final price.
Continuing inside, there is extensive standard equipment, notably blind-spot monitoring, front parking sensors and a rear-view camera. It also features a first-class infotainment system: thanks to its 7-inch touchscreen and standard Apple CarPlay, the driver can use a number of functions of their iPhone and Siri. Naturally, Android users have not been forgotten either, as MirrorLink allows them to use the system too.

Mechanically, nothing has been held back: the DS 4 Crossback Moondust will be available with the most powerful versions of its petrol and diesel engines. On the petrol side, there is the 1.6-litre THP engine with 165 CV of power and 240 Nm of torque for those who prefer a petrol car, while on the diesel side there is the 2.0-litre BlueHDI engine, producing 180 CV and 400 Nm of torque.
If you are interested in the DS 4 Crossback Moondust, you should know that dealerships are already taking orders, and that it is priced at 35,430 euros for the petrol engine and 38,330 euros for the diesel engine.
