DS 5 Prestige: French luxury in a limited edition of 250 units
The DS 5 Prestige arrives in a limited edition to revive the luxury and refinement of the DS 19 Prestige from 1959, with the latest technology and design of today

While the DS models already embody taste, luxury and French aesthetics, this new version DS 5 Prestige takes everything a step further. This model pays tribute to the DS 19 Prestige from 1959, a model that, thanks to its exceptional qualities and high level of comfort, became the preferred car of the French high society of that era.
The DS 5 Prestige will stand out from the rest of the range by conveying a greater sense of luxury, sportiness and technology, all thanks to distinguishing elements such as the DS Led Vision light system, the dynamic indicators and various chrome details affecting the grille. The body colour options are limited to three: Pearl White, Platinum Grey and Pearl Black, while the ensemble is completed with 19-inch gloss black Cairns alloy wheels.

Once we open its doors, they lead to an interior where the aim has been to achieve a high level of refinement and comfort taken to the highest expression, combined with a high level of technology, as could not be otherwise. We find elements such as aluminium, combining perfectly with a selection of leathers, such as the semi-aniline leather used on the seats with the exclusive Bracelet design of DS, or the Nappa leather used on the steering wheel, the door panels and even the dashboard.
This selection of exclusive materials conceals a design that is based on aeronautics, with the driving position as its axis and the cockpit-style roof as a distinguishing element with three light inlets. All the main controls are oriented towards the driver and grouped on the two central consoles, with designs featuring selector wheels, push buttons and toggle switches.

Thanks to keyless entry and start, we can start its engine, the only one available, a BlueHDi 180 S&S diesel linked to a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Once started, the 7-inch touchscreen welcomes us with a compendium of functions and connectivity, such as Apple CarPlay, Mirror Link, Android Auto or the DS Connect Nav system with 3D navigation. In the safety and assistance section we have all the latest technology available, such as blind-spot monitoring, lane departure warning, rear-view camera and the Head-Up Display.
The DS 5 Prestige will be sold as a limited edition of just 250 units, which will have a price in our market starting from 44,230 euros.
