Ducati Memorabilia, the collecting project for the brand's and racing's most passionate fans

Ducati Memorabilia is a project updated every year since 2019 that lets you have original parts from the Desmosedici racing bikes in your home

When something fascinates you or you really like it, it’s only natural that you end up collecting objects related to that hobby and, in our case as motoring enthusiasts, most of us have set aside a space for cars, restoration projects, parts… an endless number of items through which to give free rein to our madness.

This time we’re heading into the world of two wheels, specifically racing and even more so the Ducati world, which has so many fans around the world for the Borgo Panigale brand. Whether they are classic bikes or today’s ultra-modern machines, what is clear is that Ducati has a legion of diehard fans. If we add to that the fact that a large part of Ducati’s DNA was forged in racing, the brand wants all these people to also be able to be part of that history.

Normally in these cases we settle for a photo with a rider, signed if possible and, in the best case, getting a glove, a boot and, why not, in exceptional cases even the helmet. But Ducati goes further with the Ducati Memorabilia project, which was born in 2019 in collaboration with Ducati Corse to offer the most passionate “Ducatisti” the chance to own a piece of the brand’s racing history, specifically parts from its motorcycles used in recent years by its riders in both Superbike and MotoGP.

This year the Ducati Memorabilia catalogue is updated again, with parts from the Desmosedici GP16, specifically connecting rods, pistons, camshafts for exhaust and intake, and the crankshaft. Unique pieces that form part of the brand’s history and can be coveted and collected by many enthusiasts, and which also bear the signatures of two key names at Ducati: Claudio Domenicalli, CEO of Ducati, and Luigi Dall’Igna, director of Ducati Corse and main architect of the brand’s current racing successes.

Beyond the signatures of both, each Ducati Memorabilia piece comes protected and displayed in a Plexiglas case, accompanied by its own certificate of authenticity along with a technical description of the chosen part and, where possible, a reference to the rider and season in which it was raced, as well as the final race position, all as an additional guarantee of uniqueness and originality.

All Ducati Memorabilia pieces can be purchased through the Ducati Store in Bologna, the Ducati dealer network and via the dedicated website. The prices? As you can imagine, these are not exactly affordable for every pocket: among the new additions we go from 500 euros for a piston up to 1,000 euros for some of the camshafts. Even so, these prices are no obstacle for many Ducati, MotoGP and Superbike enthusiasts, so if you want to get one, don’t think about it too long, because there are few pieces and they sell out fast.
