Does the Dodge Viper ACR take back the fourth place for lap records at the Nürburgring?

Just days ago, the Lexus LFA announced that one of its test drivers had managed a lap of 7:14 on the Green Hell, but now it is Dodge that is hitting back with its Viper ACR and a new lap that would have been 7:12. And that’s not all: the Viper ACR-X would have set the times at 7:03…

The truth is there is no concrete proof of any of this yet, other than the video we leave you after the break, taken by one of the many regulars of the ring, and the brief mention of the time in Wikipedia’s list of lap times, although still on an unofficial basis.
