Exlantix RX Concept, the prototype that defines the future of the new Chinese brand arriving in Spain
Exlantix will be the next brand belonging to Chery to arrive in Spain, doing so in 2027, and in the meantime it presents us with a prototype that will define its future designs

The Chinese giant Chery Automobile began its landing in Europe and specifically in Spain with brands belonging to the group such as Omoda and Jaecoo, both already established in our country despite their youth, and later Ebro also followed, but it will not be the last. Chery has already confirmed that Lepas will make its gradual entry with three models over the course of this year, and by 2027 another brand will also be seen in our country: this is Exlantix.
Exlantix is another brand of Chery that focuses exclusively on new-energy vehicles, combining design, cutting-edge electric platforms and intelligent driving solutions. Its arrival in Spain is planned for 2027 with the models ES, a saloon, and ET, an SUV, both with a length exceeding 4,900 mm and first-class technology, arriving to compete in the E segment. Initially they plan to offer them with electric motorisation on an 800-volt platform with ultra-rapid charging, and later to receive plug-in hybrid versions.
But while we wait for the arrival of these two models, Exlantix has previewed the RX Concept prototype, a very important concept model for the brand since it not only debuts the brand’s new design language called “Perpetua“, but also marks the evolution of Exlantix’s design for the next decade, which means we are looking at the prototype that lays the foundations for the future models the Chinese brand will offer.

The Exlantix RX Concept was designed by Christos Pavlidis, head of exterior design for the brand’s models, who previously worked at brands such as Ferrari or Fiat, and who was responsible for naming Perpetua a design language characterised by fluid proportions and sculpted surfaces that convey dynamism, as we can see in the RX Concept.
The front of the Exlantix RX Concept stands out for a semi-opaque central area but above all for its distinctive light signature and the incorporation of three-dimensional elements that take inspiration from fine jewellery, creating a visual effect with no visible edges. From the side, the fluid, continuous lines give it muscle, as do the large bonnet or the large-dimension wheels housed in bulging wheel arches; finishing in a rear end whose perfectly integrated headlights within the bodywork lines form another characteristic light signature, also highlighting the elegant bumper and the sloping rear window with a discreet integrated spoiler.
