Ferrari 458 Italia spotted on the set of Transformers 3

In March we mentioned that the Italian sports car would be part of the third Transformers movie, so it was only a matter of time before we saw the Ferrari 458 Italia in action.

For now it has been revealed that the successor to the F430 and the new Mercedes Benz E-Class have joined the ranks of the Autobots, although it is not known how prominent their role on screen will be.

According to online reports, the Decepticons have a new trio of characters from NASCAR, distinguished by their outlandish design while keeping the most important features of the North American series.

The film is currently being shot on the streets of Chicago and thanks to the franchise’s fans we have the chance to see most of the cars that will appear in cinemas. Video after the jump.
