Fiat has published information and images of a new limited edition of the Bravo that it has made together with Microsoft. Called MSN Edition, it brings together the previous products developed with the American technology giant (the Blue&Me system for hands-free control of the MP3 player, phone and Bluetooth, and Eco:Drive, which collects driving data to show how to drive in a more environmentally friendly way), putting them all in the car alongside a satellite navigation system with an SD card reader that reports real-time traffic, the radio and a CD and MP3 player.

The Bravo MSN Edition is distinguished externally by the “MSN” logo on the C-pillar and by its body colour, as only Rosso Maranello, Azzurro Maserati and Grigio Tempesta will be available. The only engine available in this edition will be the 1.6 Multijet 16-valve diesel with particulate filter, which produces 120 CV of power and can be paired with either a six-speed manual gearbox or the six-ratio Selespeed automated gearbox.

Nevertheless, if what this edition includes is not enough, Sony Ericsson will also collaborate by launching its own limited edition of the K770i Cyber-Shot called “Bravo MSN Limited Edition”, which gives access to the Messenger instant messaging program in the car with just the press of a button. Thanks to the Blue&Me system from Fiat and Microsoft, you can talk by voice with your contacts and use the other functions.

To launch this special edition, Fiat has invited a number of lucky winners, among whom are many MSN users, each of whom will receive a Bravo MSN Edition on 26 June in the capital of each country where it will be sold, namely: Belgium, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and the United Kingdom.

All of them will make a journey to the Grupo Fiat Test Centre in Balocco, in north-western Italy. When they arrive, none will go without a small financial reward, but whoever has managed to drive in the most environmentally friendly way, as verified using the Eco:Drive system from Fiat and Microsoft, will receive a bigger prize. The money handed out will go to different charitable causes depending on the country, and in Italy, specifically, it will be invested in the construction of a nursing school in the region of Abruzzo.

The tour can be followed on the MSN page, as well as the final ceremony when the participants arrive in Balocco on 29 June. In addition, you can register on the same site to arrange a test drive at a nearby Fiat dealership and help raise as much money as possible for charitable purposes.
