Find out in real time about the risk of a fine you face, with Tecnología+ Puntos – Multas by Vexia

Although we must observe traffic regulations at all times, sometimes we are unaware of certain particular aspects of those regulations, or we simply do not comply with them. To make us reflect on what hurts us most in the end, our wallet, comes the “+ Puntos – Multas” technology from Vexia, a company of the Spanish group Crambo Labs, pioneers in introducing car navigation in Spain and devices that show instant fuel consumption or CO2 emissions.
The +Puntos – Multas technology allows you to know in real time, both visually and by sound, whether any traffic regulation is being broken, for example, the maximum speed limit. If we drive at 120 km/h in an area where the maximum allowed is 80 km/h, the system warns us of the risk of a fine we are running, informing us of the amount we would have to pay and the points we would lose if we committed that offence.
As well as increasing safety while driving, and in addition to helping us avoid offences, this method also serves to improve fuel consumption, by driving at the maximum speed permitted in each case.
Statistics indicate that in 2008 there were around 100,000 licence suspensions in Spain, plus some 15 million files opened for fines. + Puntos – Multas does not inhibit or block speed cameras (another offence that has recently been classified as very serious and included in the system), but it is an excellent reference for avoiding fines, together with the precautions to take before having an accident or losing more and more points on the licence. The system will be available in the coming weeks both for current Vexia Econav customers and for new users.
