First images of the new Citroën DS5 revealed

Citroën has just made its move and, with this latest step, has decided to show no less than the first images of the new DS5, a model that, in my opinion, is far more attractive and, above all, more aerodynamic and elegant than practically the entire range the French brand currently offers.

On the other hand, perhaps the estate-style rear is not as attractive as we had hoped, but it is clearly inspired by the vehicles that once made a brand like Citroën famous.

According to Citroën, this rear has a clear objective: to offer five “genuine” seats, that is, rear seats with enough room for three adults to travel without problems, something to which the 4.52 metres of length and 1.85 metres of height contribute significantly.

Inside the cabin, Citroën has once again chosen high-quality materials and a truly unconventional design intended to envelop occupants in a genuinely appealing technological aura and, above all, more by design than anything else, eye-catching, something that will surely please its owners.

Mechanically, according to the associated press release, there is talk of a diesel engine installed and designed specifically to drive the rear axle, combined with an electric motor on the rear axle that would guarantee all-wheel drive when needed. Overall, the new DS5 would offer a final output of 200 hp.

If you are interested in this model, this part is perhaps the one you will like most, since the French house has announced that it will begin reaching the first dealerships at the end of the year.
