First images of the new Suzuki Swift

A couple of official photos and a brief press release from Suzuki announce the new 2011 Swift, of which we already showed you spy photos of the rear (precisely where it undergoes the most changes). On the outside it has barely any changes to the lighting units and a few other details; it also grows in length, height and width, now reaching 3.8 metres.
Photos of the interior are still missing, but according to some spy shots, it appears it will undergo significant changes compared to the current design. On the other hand, Suzuki does not mention which engines the new 2011 Swift will get, but as always the DDiS diesel will be present, reducing consumption and claiming a figure of 4.2 litres per 100 km (this is probably the 75 CV 1.3).
The new VVT petrol engine (1.2, 94 CV) will also see its consumption reduced to 5.0 litres per 100 km. In a few days we will be able to expand on the information, and we will surely have more details on the interior and the engines. The Swift is built in Hungary, and will reach dealerships this autumn.
