First render of Volvo P20

The Volvo P20 appears to be an attempt by the Swedish brand to venture into a segment it had somewhat neglected, although to do so it will use the platform of the Ford Fiesta to bring to life a city car, low-consumption, easy to maneuver and, if possible, electric, as is the norm.

The Swedish magazine Teknikens Varld has published a render of the imaginary Volvo P20 which, whether invented or official, gives a very accurate hint of what this car would be, one that could perhaps become a rival to the Audi A1. There is even a figure said to be official: its body length, just under four metres.

It seems most likely that this P20 is another attempt by Volvo within the field of electric cars. Moreover, given that the Swedish brand is perfecting the DRIVe system with ultra-low emissions below 120 g/km, the P20 could be another candidate to join the aforementioned eco-friendly line.

Finally, I would say that this P20 (Personal), although it is a render, I like more than the Fiesta, without detracting from the Ford car. Although so far everything is speculation, including the drawing, and one cannot speak of preferences, let us hope that in the coming months (or days, with the Geneva show now very close) Volvo deigns to release some data about this project and some technical details.

No está mal, por delante parece un Fiesta y la trasera parece la típica de los XC-90 con los faros verticales, pero poco más se puede ver. Lo verdaderamente importante es saber el tiempo de recarga y autonomía.
