First teaser of the Elfin Type 5 Roadster

The Australian company Elfin Sport Cars has released the first teaser of its new creation, which is set to be a compact sports car with excellent performance, whose fresh and innovative design would give the company good reasons to bring it to market in Europe.

The Type 5 is being developed under the motto “built quickly to win”, which does not mean it fails to meet safety standards or the requirements needed to deliver strong thrills.

The car would use the four-cylinder engine producing 260 CV seen in the Pontiac Solstice GXP and the Saturn Sky Redline, which would allow it to accelerate from 0-100 km in 3.7 seconds, essentially thanks to its weight, below 750 kilos.

The production version of the roadster will see the light of day very soon and would be sold at an approximate price of 42,220 euros in its home country, but the cost for the European market has not yet been mentioned.
