Flavio Briatore is parting ways with his brand-new Jaguar XJ220

The truth is that when someone puts up for sale vehicles like this one at an “absurdly” low price for a museum piece, especially in the pristine condition in which this piece of motorsport history on wheels is found, I die a little inside.
Maybe I can’t buy it, maybe I can’t maintain it, but it has to be acknowledged that practically every lover of fine classic cars wishes to have a gem like this in their garage, of which only 350 units ever reached the market.
As the title of this post says, the car you see on screen belonged to none other than Flavio Briatore, who bought it in 1992 while working for Benetton. Sadly, it is now for sale with just 22,000 km on the clock, in excellent condition, and at a price below 200,000 euros.
Truly a price that is hard to believe, but that is the market for you. Now, is Briatore in such a bad situation right now that he needs to sell it at that price? Is the market so bad that not even at that price does it sell?
