Ford Performance launches a new app for the most enthusiastic drivers

Ford Performance is launching a mobile app for the most enthusiastic drivers. The platform collects and analyses data while the user drives on the track, and features such as lap time statistics, vehicle performance data and real-time on-screen indicators. In addition, it captures video in different modes and from different angles.

The Ford Performance app has been designed for use with smartphones. From their devices, users will have access to the recorded data and will be able to share their track achievements with other users.

“Being able to take their track sessions wherever they go and share the recording with their friends is a major benefit of our new app,” says Ford Performance global director Dave Pericak.

The platform will be available for the new Ford GT from 2017, although it will eventually be offered on many other models.
