Just a couple of weeks ago, we brought you some major news about Foxconn, as the Lordstown Endurance, the popular all-electric North American pick-up, has finally announced the start of its production at the technology giant Foxconn’s plant.

Now, the company responsible for manufacturing numerous highly relevant products such as the iPhone is venturing into the automotive sector with its Model B, a compact all-electric car that comes with a really attractive design, cutting-edge technology equipment and range figures that will make things quite difficult for its rivals.

In terms of size, the new Foxtron Model B will be positioned alongside tough rivals such as the Volkswagen iD.3, the CUPRA Born and the newly launched MG4 Electric, making it a very sensible choice for those who need a city car with long range, but also well suited to all kinds of use thanks to its great versatility.

Sporty and modern

Moving on to the design section, the new Model B was styled by none other than Pininfarina, which has given it a very aggressive front end with LED light units running across its full width, a muscular bonnet with a prominent air intake and a bumper with pronounced shapes.

From the side profile, the Model B has a side with a high and very pronounced hip line, camera mirrors, wheel arches and sills in gloss black, a B and C pillar also in black that gives it a very modern look, and streamlined alloy wheels.

At the rear, Foxconn’s first electric car features horizontally arranged LED tail lights, a very sporty bumper with a black diffuser and a small sporty spoiler at the top of its tailgate. However, the most distinctive feature is its LED light panel at each end, which will show the direction you are taking using playful icons.

A very high-tech atmosphere

Entering the cabin of this model, we find a large floating screen in the centre of the dashboard for the infotainment system, a small one above the steering wheel acting as the instrument cluster, and a screen at each end for the mirrors. As for interior space, it seems to offer great room and spaciousness thanks to the use of a glass panoramic roof and an almost non-existent central console.

Although it will be able to travel up to 450 kilometres on a single charge, the manufacturer has decided not to reveal further details such as its power output, arrival date or price, although according to rumours, it will cost around 30,000 euros.
