From now on, Lotus Elise SC can be rented in Italy

Lotus has announced that it has signed an agreement with Hertz Italia for the rental or hire of Lotus models in Italy, ahead of the holiday season that is approaching. Specifically, the Lotus Elise will be available from next week at all Hertz branches across the Italian Republic, and it will be an additional reason for Lotus enthusiasts who cannot buy an Elise to visit Italy.
Precisely, the option to buy an Elise is what motivated such a unique agreement. According to the people at Lotus in Rome, they expect that the public who has never driven a Lotus will buy one after trying it. A good strategy, but one that not even the people at Lotus in Italy will be very sure about. With the crisis, it remains to be seen how many decide to rent an exotic Elise.
How much does it cost to rent one of these machines? No prices are given and it is not even listed yet on Hertz Italia. But do not expect it to be cheap to take a spin for a day or two in an Lotus Elise SC.
