The rain of Zondas shows no sign of stopping. Joining the Zonda PS, Zonda HH, Zonda Uno, Zonda 750, Zonda Tricolore, Zonda Cinque and Zonda RAK now is the Pagani Zonda Absolute.

This unit was commissioned by a millionaire from Hong Kong (China) and features a carbon fibre bodywork left completely bare. Only a small strip in the colours of the Italian flag runs along this one-off edition. A lovely combination. It reminds me a lot of the Zonda R.

Its technical specifications are not known, but it is almost one hundred percent certain that the engine is the traditional 7.3-litre AMG V12 with no less than 650 CV. Its performance and price are not known either. The only thing that is certain is the photographs taken by an enthusiast and posted on the TeamSpeed forum.

You may be wondering why anyone would spend their money on a model with so little commercial life left, given how close the arrival of the new Zonda is. It would seem more logical and sensible to wait for the new generation, which is supposed to be better in every way.

However, considering that the price of the Absolute should be in the region of one million euros, anyone who handles such a sum of money can afford the luxury of buying whatever they want, whenever they want, leaving logic to the rest of the world’s inhabitants to enjoy.
