Get more luxury and refinement with the new Renault Scenic Initiale París

The Initiale París trim comes to the Renault Scenic, giving it more presence and luxury thanks to a higher level of equipment and high-quality materials

Introducing the Initiale París trim on Renault models always translates into more luxury, as well as a higher level of equipment. Models such as the Renault Clio, the Koleos, the Captur or the Espace MPV, which by the way we tested at Highmotor with this trim level, have already received it. Now, the latest to join this exclusive French club will be another MPV, the Renault Scenic.

The Initiale París trim thus arrives on one of Renault’s most successful models, both for the Scenic and the Grand Scenic, standing out from the rest of the range through changes affecting both the interior and exterior, much wider equipment, and three new engines, both petrol and turbo diesel.

On the styling side, starting with the exterior, the Renault Scenic Initiale París receives new wheels exclusive to this model, 20 inches, a grille with a star design, LED fog lights with the “Cornering” function, and a new two-tone paint called Amethyst Black, which, incidentally, carries no extra cost for the customer. Finally, below the Renault diamond on the front you will find the Initiale París badge, which reminds you which version you are looking at.

Moving to the interior, we find higher-quality materials and finishes. The doors feature new chrome trim, and the upholstery is Nappa leather in black and grey, with the trim name embossed on the seats. This same material is also found on the steering wheel and gear lever.

In terms of equipment, it comes as standard with several items that would be optional extras at other trim levels, such as heated massage seats with enveloping headrests, plus a new specific finish colour for the centre console. The rest of the equipment is based on the Intens trim, to which they add the Bose sound system, Head-Up Display and the Easy Park Assist parking assistant.

Mechanically, three engines are available, the same for the Renault Scenic as for the Grand Scenic. These are a 130 CV Energy TCe petrol and two diesel engines: the 130 CV Energy dCi and the 160 CV Energy dCi with dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Prices for the Scenic Initiale París on the French market start at €33,200 and go up to €38,800, while the Grand Scenic Initiale París starts at €33,800 and goes up to €39,400, to which you will need to add any extras you wish to include.
