Goodyear launches a special snow tyre onto the market

Now that winter is approaching and the first snowfalls begin, a routine drive in our sports car can turn into a real ordeal if we are caught out by a snowstorm. That is why Goodyear is launching the UltraGrip Performance 2, the new generation of the UltraGrip winter tyre family, winner of numerous tests, designed for luxury and high-performance cars.

The new UltraGrip Performance 2 incorporates Adaptive Grip Lug Technology, which allows a better bond between the tyre and the icy road; longitudinal zigzag traction grooves, which allow more snow to be expelled and therefore better grip; and improved polymer technology, which improves the tyre’s performance in extremely cold conditions.

With all these new features, the tyre has greater traction on slippery surfaces such as ice, snow or water, more grip and shorter braking distances on snow and ice, and outstanding performance when climbing slopes and accelerating as well as excellent stability on ice and snow.
