Harley-Davidson fans welcome the Forty Eight Special and Iron 1200

Harley-Davidson lovers have reason to celebrate. The American brand has announced that over the next 10 years it will launch up to 100 new models. These models will keep it at the forefront and deliver an intense experience for those who enjoy riding one of them. Although 2027, when these models will be ready to test, is still a long way off, two of these motorcycles are already ready to be enjoyed to the full.

The Harley-Davidson Sporter Iron 1200 has arrived to position itself as a powerful and attractive machine. The motorcycle is ready to be customised to the buyer’s preference. The powerful 1,202 cc engine and a maximum torque of 99 Nm give it a truly spectacular look, with a very recognisable handlebar and a dome that covers the front headlight. The seat is single-seat and fits the body well thanks to the stop at its rear.

The main feature of this motorcycle is the predominance of black on the handlebars, the wheels, the engine, the exhaust and other elements that give it a spectacular look. The fuel tank, with a capacity of 12.5 litres, is available in three colours: Vivid Black, Twisted Cherry or Billiard White, and the graphics on it are in bright colours to provide an attractive contrast. The price of the Harley-Davidson Sporter Iron 1200 in Spain is €12,820.

For its part, the Harley-Davidson Forty Eight Special has a simpler look that lends itself to customisation. It stands out for its front wheel, which is supported by a fork with 49 mm legs held in place by forged aluminium triple clamps. The 16-inch wheels have been designed with nine double spokes on both wheels to give them a greater visual impact. Black and chrome come together on the bodywork, in keeping with the overall look of the motorcycle.

The fuel tank is slightly smaller than that of the previous model, with a capacity of 8.3 litres, and it is available in the three colours we have already mentioned. However, instead of the well-known Harley-Davidson logo, only the brand name will be visible. The price of the Harley-Davidson Forty Eight Special is €11,480.
