Harry Metcalfe and the Ferrari 599 SA Aperta

Excellent video starring a beautiful black Ferrari SA Aperta. Without a doubt one of the most spectacular supercars from the Italian marque.

Just a few hours ago our mouths were watering over a truly appealing and surprising video in which Chris Harris showed us a comparison made at the Nürburgring between the exceptional Jaguar XKR-S and the legendary Jaguar XJ220. Now it’s the turn of something far more special, just as much as the Ferrari SA Aperta

Specifically, the person behind this video, a white-haired gentleman whose hair matches the polo shirt you can see in the image above, is Harry Metcalfe, editor of EVO, who recently travelled to Ferrari’s Italian facilities with his beautiful 550 Barchetta to carry out a road test of an impressive black 599 SA Aperta.

As a fact, I don’t think it’s necessary to talk about this ultra-limited and exclusive edition, which is far more so than any Enzo or F50 no matter what some may think, always speaking of units built of course, and where the most curious thing is its manually retractable soft top.

Another fact: mechanically, the 599 SA Aperta features the same V12 engine as the 599 GTO, that is, an engine capable of delivering 660 CV and 620 Nm of maximum torque, with which you can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds or reach a top speed of 325 km/h.
