Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Roadster, only 12 units with 1,842 CV that will devour any circuit

One of the best supercars you can find anywhere on the face of the earth right now is the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution, an even more radical and far more exclusive version than the Venom F5, with a character geared more toward track use. It is no coincidence that it is the ideal place to get the most out of its V8 with more than 1,800 CV of power.

This year Hennessey presented the Venom F5 Revolution Coupé, or what is essentially the hardtop version of this radical supercar, which will now be followed by the Venom F5 Revolution Roadster, combining the best of both worlds: a convertible focused on track use. It is worth noting that the Venom F5 Revolution Roadster will be even more exclusive than its coupé sibling, since only 12 units of this new version will be manufactured for the entire world.

If we compare the Hennessey Venom F5 Roadster with the F5 Revolution Roadster, the differences are obvious at first glance, with a front end that shows greater aggressiveness thanks to the oversized lower lip and the two side fins that blend perfectly with the front wheel arch. Moving toward the rear, we see it features an upper air intake to channel as much fresh air as possible to its engine, while at the back it carries a huge, simple and beautiful rear wing that fulfills its function perfectly.

The Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Roadster, as its name suggests, is a convertible, so we can unleash its aggressiveness with the roof removed. The roof is made from a single piece of rigid carbon fiber composites, while the interior is upholstered in Alcantara. It weighs just 8 kg, so one person can remove it with complete ease by releasing the four quick-release bolts and two safety latches.

The Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Roadster will be presented next August 18 during the event “The Quail, a Motorsports Gathering,” held during Monterey Car Week, where one of the five units known as the “Bare Carbon” will also be shown. These units are even more special and unique, featuring hand-laid carbon fiber weave in a herringbone pattern to further accentuate their lines, followed by a clear protective coating.

Mechanically there are no surprises, and none are needed, since the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Roadster is powered by a 6,600 cc V8 capable of generating 1,842 CV of power and 1,617 Nm of torque, which is sent exclusively to the rear axle through a seven-speed automatic gearbox. All this power is brought to a halt by an effective ceramic braking system.

All the exclusivity offered by the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution Roadster comes at a price: each of these 12 units costs 3 million dollars, and attention, because all of them have already been sold.
