Hongqi is very similar to the Lincoln MKT Concept

FAW is one of the Chinese brands with a good reputation for the fine models its cars have offered, and even its new B131 saloon has received good reviews, although it has only been seen in sketches so far.

However, the similarity between its concept called The Hongqi (red flag), intended to become the company’s new emblem and whose official presentation is planned for this week at the Beijing Motor Show, bears a shocking resemblance to the Lincoln MKT, a concept presented in January in Detroit.

The images show that the differences between one car and the other are almost imperceptible except for the front grille. We can only hope that there is an agreement between FAW and Lincoln to use a similar design, or perhaps the bad habit of copying models has reached this Chinese company.
