How to build the engine of a Ferrari 458 Italia

Perhaps one of the most important parts of any self-respecting supercar is precisely its engine. In the case of the Ferrari 458 Italia, a beautiful 4.5-litre V8, perfectly tuned and calibrated to produce a staggering 562 CV, more than enough power to move a supercar of the calibre of the 458 Italia with ease.
As you well know, thanks to this magnificent engine, Ferrari has managed to ensure that the successor to the Ferrari F430, a supercar loved by many, can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds or reach a top speed of an incredible 325 km/h. As you can see, performance that takes your breath away… but how is a heart with these characteristics built?
Naturally, the engineering and tuning work must be phenomenal, but to make our task a little easier, it was Ferrari itself that recorded a video at its facilities and showed us how a V8 with such performance is built.
