Hyundai dresses up for the World Cup

Hyundai has to recoup all the money it has invested to become the official sponsor of the upcoming 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa and has decided to create two unique monsters (thankfully, let’s hope they are destroyed once the football tournament is over) with football themes.
As it turns out, they have created two Hyundai i10s quite special ones, starting with the fact that they are covered in artificial grass painted to look like a football pitch complete with its penalty area, six-yard box and corner arc. On top of that, the roof carries a football 1.5 metres in diameter. The interior also includes things like footballs instead of headrests.
Andy Saunders has been the creator of these two rather peculiar models, which we will see in the African country within a few weeks. They will tour England to promote the World Cup in that country and will also be displayed at dealerships across the country.
A charming initiative that we hope goes no further than that and does not attempt to sell any model like this. It would be nice to see one of them in Spain, touring Europe rather than England, but for now we will have to make do with seeing them on TV.
