Hyundai i30 N "N Option": more spice and customisation for the sporty compact
The
Hyundai i30 N receives a new design kit that pushes its look even further.
The Hyundai i30 N is the most sporty variant of the South Korean car, a model that takes on the big names in the sporty compact segment (Honda Civic Type R, Volkswagen Golf R, Ford Focus RS…) with its 2.0 T-GDi petrol engine producing up to 275 CV of power (which rises to 320 CV with the RaceChip remap). Despite its undeniable sporting performance, some may feel its styling is too conservative for a car of this kind. For those interested in a more exclusive version of the South Korean compact, it will be reassuring to know that the Hyundai i30 N has been unveiled at the Paris Motor Show with a new design upgrade kit called “N Option”.
“With our N portfolio we are competing in the market, achieving new results and emotions for our customers. The development of our N vehicles is based on Motorsport, and our commitment there is the N line. The new i30 N Line and our i30 N ‘N Option’ show our dual approach to customisation, making N available to a wider audience,” says Thomas Schemera, Executive Vice President of the High Performance Vehicles & Motorsport Division at Hyundai Motor Group.
i30 “N Option”: up to 25 different customisation options

The i30 ‘N Option’ package offers a total of 25 different interior and exterior customisation options. On the outside, highlights include a carbon fibre rear spoiler with the N badge, a carbon fibre bonnet with integrated vents, quad exhaust tips and the N grille framed by the characteristic red line. The new i30 N kit also includes 20-inch alloy wheels fitted with high-performance semi-slick tyres. The i30 N ‘N Option’ exterior colour is a matt paint specially created for this model.
Interior: a focus on carbon fibre and Alcantara

Inside, there are various details in carbon black along the instrument panel, as well as on the air conditioning vents, the door handles and the lower part of the steering wheel, which is covered in high-quality Alcantara. In addition, the upper part of the instrument panel and the Alcantara sports seats feature a longitudinal red line. The sporty design of the cabin is completed by sports pedals and a dynamic-looking gear lever.
