Hyundai ix20: engine changes and new versions

Hyundai Spain is preparing some changes with a renewal feel for the five-door small car that the brand sells in our country, after the i10. The ix20 will incorporate new engines and will have changes to the versions and trim levels of its models, so that the offer is more appealing to customers looking for a car with good usability characteristics, without affecting the price too much.
The first change has to do with the engines. To the current offer of the 1.4 90 CV and the two Diesel 1.4 CRDi of 90 CV and 1.6 CRDi of 110 CV, the new 1.6-litre engines producing 126 CV and another Diesel of the same displacement with 128 CV will be added. As for trim levels, Hyundai will offer the model in the City, Tecno and Sport trims, which eliminates the previous Classic and Comfort trims. The new versions include two special trims called SLE.

Among other features the City includes six airbags, stability and traction control, hill start assist, air conditioning, trip computer, front and rear electric windows, heated exterior mirrors with electric adjustment, Bluetooth connection for mobile phones and CD+MP3 radio with USB port and Aux-In connection. In this trim you can order the SLE, which has a light sensor, portable navigation, chrome door handles, fog lights and 16-inch alloy wheels.
The Tecno adds light and rain sensor, electrically folding exterior mirrors, chrome inserts on the interior door handle and handbrake, chrome exterior door handles and fog lights.
The most equipped version, the Sport, which will only be offered with the 1.6 CRDi engine, has the previous equipment, with the addition of cruise control, multifunction steering wheel, automatic climate control, keyless entry and start, driver’s seat integrated armrest, panoramic sunroof, leather upholstered seats, integrated navigation and 17-inch alloy wheels.
With a small price increase ranging from 300 to 1,000 euros depending on the model, the 1.4 City with 90 hp will be sold for 15,890 euros, not including other additional discounts.
