The main novelty you will find at the Infiniti stand at the Frankfurt Motor Show takes the form of a concept and marks a step in the brand’s strategy toward expanding into new premium segments with the debut of the new Infiniti Q30 Concept.
According to the words we heard at the press conference, the Infiniti Q30 Concept is defined as a driving alternative that combines the characteristics of a coupé with the qualities of an estate and a crossover.
Its front design is defined by a large grille topped by the brand’s logo, and it also features narrow light units. Its side profile adds numerous curved lines, which give it a more dynamic appearance. At the rear, we find a double exhaust outlet that adds more sportiness to the concept. This new concept from the brand is intended to preview a future model that will expand the product range on the market. Its definitive look could be known from the end of next year, and production is expected to begin during 2015 at the Infiniti plant in Sunderland, United Kingdom.

Another of the novelties at Infiniti is the European presentation of the Q50, whose world premiere took place at the Detroit International Auto Show last January. Finally, the occasion was also used for Johan de Nysschen to present three-time Formula 1 world champion Sebastian Vettel with a very special helmet. The Infiniti Red Bull Racing team will carry out the first round of tests of the Infiniti Q30 Concept at the Tochigi circuit, Japan.
