Infiniti Essence Concept, a beautiful futuristic hybrid

Infiniti unveiled yesterday one of the most beautiful concepts at the Geneva Motor Show, thus celebrating 20 years of brand creation, and also used the occasion to showcase the future design and technology line that the upcoming luxury models of Nissan will feature.
The car uses a 3.7L Twin Turbo V6 engine producing 434 hp, coupled to a seven-speed automatic gearbox; it also features a 158 hp electric motor. This hybrid system will probably appear in the upcoming production models.
The interior boasts excellent use of space, featuring a different colour scheme for each occupant and styling worthy of the brand, thanks to the custom design by Louis Vuitton.
Another notable feature is the boot designed specifically for the Essence.
Finally, the concept offers two new safety technologies: the first, called Side Collision Prevention, directs the braking force in the opposite direction if a vehicle is detected in the adjacent lane.
The second, called Back-Up Collision Prevention, first warns the driver and then applies the brakes if an object is detected behind the car during area scanning.
