Q70 Premium Select Edition 1

Infiniti, the luxury brand of Nissan aimed at competing in the premium market, has announced the launch of a special edition for its largest saloon.

We are talking about the Q70 Premium Select Edition, a version that stands out for its greater technological content and for certain aesthetic touches that make it more exclusive.

The Q70 has been on sale for some time, positioned as the most expensive and elegant option in the range. It is aimed at competing with European and Japanese models such as the Lexus GS, the BMW 5 Series or the Audi A6. Now, to mark the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the people at Infiniti have decided to improve the image of their flagship saloon.

The Q70 Premium Select Edition will be officially presented at Pebble Beach, but the brand has already released the details. It is a version in which the aim has been to improve both the image and the equipment, by adding details that together give an extra touch to the great Japanese saloon.

Q70 Premium Select Edition 2

Aesthetically, the Q70 Premium Select Edition stands apart from its siblings in the range thanks to some trim in darkened chrome finish. This tone is also found on the alloy wheels, of exclusive design, 20″ in diameter and with an anthracite finish. At the rear we also notice a small spoiler above the boot, as well as a glossy black finish for the lower part of the bumper.

Inside, the seats stand out, tremendous armchairs upholstered in off-white leather with darker-toned edges. The contrast created is more than elegant. The dashboard trim is now aluminium, there are also illuminated door sills, as well as floor mats with an exclusive finish.

Q70 Premium Select Edition 3

Mechanically, the Q70 Premium Select Edition has undergone no changes. We still have a 3.7 V6 engine producing 330 CV, as well as a large 5.6 V8 producing 420 CV. In Spain, however, the Q70 is offered with a hybrid powertrain, as well as a diesel engine producing 190 CV, from Mercedes-Benz.
