Is this the final look of the new Toyota Supra?
The Toyota Supra is an iconic car beloved by motoring enthusiasts. Especially important in tuning culture, the successor to this model will reach the market soon. Based on the images revealed so far, we can already confirm its design almost perfectly.
Going back to 2014 with the presentation of the Toyota FT-1 concept, some clues about the new Toyota Supra could be seen. Four years later, we have finally been able to access revealing images, which have shown the final design of the model.
In mid-2018, the Japanese manufacturer has been dropping details sparingly about its highly anticipated sports car. Very few journalists have had the chance to test the prototype last week. Thanks to all these events, we now have a full render that allows an almost perfect simulation of the final look of the new Toyota Supra.

These renders come from a member of the forum of Supra MKV, and show the model without the camouflage paint (you can see these images here), painted in different colours so we can get an idea of how its lines look.
Of course, given the aggressiveness of the model’s design, colours like red suit this new Supra wonderfully. However, other colours such as blue, white, or even black and silver also give it an enviable look, which only reinforces the praise for the design team that carried out the work.

As far as its overall design is concerned, it is very similar to the FT-1 prototype that Toyota showed in 2014. Especially at the rear, the new Supra is practically a copy of the prototype, which shows that this idea took deep root among the creatives at the Japanese manufacturer long ago.
Regarding its roof and the look of its side windows, they keep the idea of the original concept.
Its front end is the one with the most differences. While the new model keeps certain similarities in appearance with what the FT-1 showed, it differs mainly in that it will be much smaller than the one presented by the concept.

The FT-1 had a lower and wider profile, especially typical of supercars; however, the new Supra is much smaller and has a more “widened” look.
Either way, what is clear is that this new Toyota model will not leave anyone indifferent, and whether it will live up to its predecessors, whose legacy is still visible in the motoring world today, remains to be seen.
