It's Christmas on Top Gear!

This year Top Gear wants to give petrolheads a great present by broadcasting two special episodes in which they will test completely opposite cars. Click on “Read more” to watch a short video preview of what is in store for us.

The first episode will air on 21 December. In it we’ll enjoy watching Clarkson and company drive around the United States at the wheel of a Ferrari 458 Italia, a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG and a Porsche 911 GT3 RS. The trip includes a visit to the spectacular city of New York and its traditional and original tests.

On 26 December the second special episode will air. In this case the cars are a BMW Z3, a Fiat Barchetta and a Mazda MX-5. All of them with their appropriate modifications to withstand the harsh journey they will make through the Middle East (more information here).

Both episodes will be broadcast on BBC2 at 21:00 (20:00 in the UK). Below you can see what you were waiting for.
